Christopher Pearce is one of Australia’s premier photographers. He holds a Masters in Documentary Photography from the University of Sydney and since 2012 he has worked as a photojournalist for Getty Images and Fairfax mastheads including the Financial Review, Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. His work is featured regularly in the Good Food Guide, Good Weekend and Spectrum.
After a decade of learning and evolving his craft Christopher now also works as a freelance photographer, in addition to editorial work. He specialises in food and beverage and is also well-known for his corporate, advertising, events and magazine photography.
His corporate clients include ANZ Bank, Ernst & Young, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) and Qantas. Food and beverage clients include international brands such as Bacardi-Martini Australia, Bombay Sapphire, Grey Goose, Dewars, Monin, Red Bull and Bartender Magazine.
Christopher has twice been selected as a finalist in the prestigious National Portrait Prize (2012, 2017) and he has exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery of Australia.
